Six Ayr players in BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy
The BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy was officially launched at BT Murrayfield on Saturday, and six Ayr players have been inducted into the Glasgow and the West branch of the new training programme.
Men's first XV regulars Robbie Fergusson and James Malcolm are stage three players along with scrum-half Ali Price, who will be a new face at Millbrae for the 2015/16 season with stage two player Archie Russell.
Price will be familiar to Glasgow Warriors fans after some impressive appearances last season, and Russell, a Scotland under-20s cap, follows in the footsteps of older brother Finn in joining Ayr.
Calum Gaw and Gregor Paxton, who have been on excellent form for Ayr's youth teams, will be stage two players.
We wish them all the best of luck and look forward to seeing them progress!

Ladies' lunch on Saturday 26th September
With the 2015/16 fixtures confirmed today, we're very happy to announce that our first ladies' lunch of the new season will be on Saturday 26th September.
This hugely popular event coincides with the men's 1st XV BT Premiership clash with Stirling County and will take place in a marquee at Millbrae.
The lunch will raise funds for nineteen-year-old Connor Hughes, who damaged his spinal cord playing rugby for Stirling University last year. You can find out more about Connor here.
It may be three months away, but a hundred seats have already been booked, so do get in touch with Eilidh Rankin to secure your place. You can email (eilidhr@hotmail.com) or text Eilidh (07879671272) for more information.
