The senior intercity derby may have been a wash-out on New Year's Day, but the under-18 sides of Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh managed to play the second leg of their festive encounters, with Ayr's Jack Preston and Lewis Anderson again turning out for the Warriors in a great win for the Glasgow team.
Playing at Lochinch, Glasgow Warriors recorded a 42-12 victory over Edinburgh a few weeks after their 12-3 win at Murrayfield. Ayr's Preston and Anderson again took their places at scrum-half and hooker respectively and no doubt enjoyed the high-scoring win over their east coast rivals.
