Golf Day at sunny Turnberry

Ayr RFC descended on Turnberry's Kintyre course on Sunday for their annual golf day and raised £500 for the club in the process.

Adam McDonald, Ben Paterson, Nigel Howard and Barry McDonald made up the victorious team with Calum Forrester, George Braid, Blake Braid and Scott McLaws the runners-up.
There were prizes for the longest drives, sponsored by the Famous Grouse, for Danny McCluskey on the first hole and Tom Hiddleston on the eighteenth.
Scott McLaws and Ben Paterson claimed the closest-to-the-pin prizes on the sixth and sixteenth respectively, with prizes provided by the Meridian and Deli Ginger.

Kind thanks to all the sponsors, those who donated raffle prizes, Turnberry Golf Club and the Balgarth Pines in Ayr who provided the post-competition meal.
