Ayr well represented in dark blue

It's another jam-packed international weekend, and there will be plenty of familiar faces pulling on the dark blue jersey of Scotland.

The Scotland Club XV take on their Irish counterparts in Cork on Friday night, led by Ayr captain Ross Curle. Pete McCallum, Will Bordill, Rob McAlpine and George Hunter start too, and after their excellent win against the English Counties, they will be hoping for another victory.

Also on Friday evening, Scotland U20s are in action in their Six Nations match with Ireland. Ayr hooker Lewis Anderson amongst the substitutes and he is joined in the squad by second row Lee Scott, who will be hoping to make his international debut from the bench.

On Sunday, Scotland Women U20s will play Belgium and Ayr Ladies' Catherine Shennan and Kelsey Swift are in the squad travelling to Brussels.

There was a friendly against Japan U19s on Wednesday night and Paddy Dewhirst, Lewis Young, Ruairidh Sayce, Mark Conlon and Gregor Paxton (pictured above) turned out for Scotland.

We're always delighted to see our players do well across all age grades and levels and we wish them the best of luck as they represent their club and country with pride!
