Ayr RFC is looking for a match reporter to join the media team.
Primarily, you would be covering Ayr 2nd XV's home matches in the BT Reserve League National 1 on Saturday afternoons, but may be asked to report on Ayr Ladies or Ayr-Wellington matches occasionally. Your match reports would be featured on the club website.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the sport of rugby union and be a writer with a clear, concise style who pays close attention to spelling, grammar and fact-checking, and doesn't mind being outside in Ayrshire winters.
This is a voluntary position with expenses.
