There were eight Ayr players turning out at BT Murrayfield last night, but not all were on the same side.
Lewis Anderson started for Scotland U20s, with Lee Scott amongst the replacements as they took on the Scotland Club XV as part of their three-day training camp in preparation for the U20s Six Nations, which begins next week.
For the Club XV, Ross Curle, George Hunter, Rob McAlpine, Will Bordill and Pete McCallum were in the starting line-up and Haddon McPherson was on the bench.
