Townsend full of praise for Malcolm

Ayr's young hooker James Malcolm had his first start for Glasgow Warriors on Saturday, scoring a try in their 43-6 victory over Scarlets in the European Rugby Champions Cup at Scotstoun.

The 21-year-old put in a great performance and Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend was delighted by the youngster's contribution to the six-try win.

'He is tough.  He puts in low tackles, he runs hard and he is physically good.'
